Universal Mechanism

In solid masonry and concrete, the Uno expands radially as the screw is driven — identical in action to a traditional nylon wall plug, but with the additional anti-rotation fins that prevent spinning. In hollow substrates such as plasterboard or hollow concrete block, the plug deforms and collapses behind the board face as the screw advances, spreading the load across a larger area. In aerated concrete, the plug expands within the softer substrate to provide a reliable grip. This multi-action mechanism requires no additional hardware or toggle assembly.

Anti-Rotation Fins

A common frustration with standard wall plugs is the plug spinning in the hole as the screw is driven in, particularly in larger-diameter or rough drilled holes.
