At 400mm wide and 222mm deep, the Vault occupies minimal floor space while still providing a usable basin and a storage cupboard. The slim 222mm depth means it does not project far from the wall, leaving walkway space in narrow cloakrooms. Height at 781mm is standard vanity height, matching wheelchair access requirements and comfortable for standing use.
The soft-close mechanism is a small detail that makes a noticeable difference. In a small room where the vanity door is opened and closed frequently, a slamming door is irritating. The soft-close prevents this while also protecting the unit from impact damage over time.
The included ceramic basin has a single tap hole, which accepts a mono basin mixer tap. In a compact cloakroom, a mono mixer is generally preferable to separate hot and cold pillar taps — it takes up less space and provides easier temperature control. The basin is not compatible with taps requiring two tap holes; buyers intending to use existing separate taps should check compatibility before ordering.
